Stone front steps and a walkway for a Rowley ranch house

In October 2026 we replaced a low concrete step and a cracked asphalt path at a Rowley ranch house with wide blue-gray stone front steps, a landing at the door and a stone slab walkway. Here is the job, before and after.

The Job

From a cracked path to stone steps and a walkway

Our newest Rowley job is the front entry of a ranch house. On October 7, 2026 the entry had a low two-tier white concrete step and a cracked asphalt path running along the house. On October 19, 2026 it had wide blue-gray stone front steps with a landing at the door, and a stone slab walkway leading to them.

The close photo shows the steps and landing in stone, with a planter urn holding a fern on each side of the door. The walkway photo shows the slabs running along the front of the house toward the driveway. We describe only what the photos show; more stone paths and stairs are on our walkways and stairs page.

If your steps are worn, cracked or too small for the door, send photos of the entry and the path. We also build stone and brick stairs for entries and garden grades, in Rowley and across the North Shore.
